Varigen Biosciences is an early stage synthetic biology company whose mission is to develop advanced technologies for genome/metagenome mining and over-production of small molecule drugs. The company is developing revolutionary products for the sequence specific capture, amplification, over-expression and sequencing of long DNA (20-100 Kb) to dramatically simplify the production of natural products. These breakthrough technologies could disrupt the status quo of numerous genomics, next gen sequencing and drug discovery applications. We are using these breakthrough technologies to enable academic, biotech and biopharma partners to accelerate bioactive compound and drug development.
